Homemade Pumpkin Puree

Homemade pumpkin purΓ©e πŸŽƒ

This tastes 1000 times better than the canned stuff! It has a mild savory and sweet flavor. We are going to be making pumpkin cheesecake on Thanksgiving. I saved some for pumpkin muffins, to add some extra nutrients to sauces, and maybe something else.

πŸ“ŒPin it!   http://pin.it/o3gMFYF

– Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
-Clean out the seeds and cut pumpkin in half.
-Bake it for 1.5-2.5 hours depending on the thickness. You will know it is done when you can easily put a fork through it.
-Tip: cover loosely with foil once it starts browning to prevent burning.
-PurΓ©e in a food processor. Add some water if it is too thick. Enjoy!
