Welcome! My name is Ryan and I have a passion for Fitness and Health. I am a mom, wife, vet, and I have a BS in Social/Behavioral Sciences and an MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. I have taken college level nutrition/health and anatomy/physiology classes and am always striving to learn more. In my previous job, I oversaw multiple Fitness, Health, and Wellness Centers.💙
🍓I am not about being “skinny” and starving yourself to lose weight. I LOVE to eat tasty food, and incorporate delicious healthy fats, lean protein, whole grains, and nutrient dense superfoods into my daily life.
🙍🏼I struggled with destructive eating habits, insecurity, and a poor body image in my youth. Now, I have decided to love my postpartum body. My weight fluctuates all the time.
🤰🏼I wasn’t able to exercise during my 1st pregnancy due to complications, so I did what was best for my baby and me and RESTED the whole time. No regrets with the decision to sit on the couch for months to keep my baby safe.
My second pregnancy ended in loss and I fell into a depression, not wanting to get out of bed or eat anything besides ice cream. Exercise and nutrition helped me to grieve for my baby in a healthy way and begin to move forward. Deciding to change and commit to a healthy lifestyle is what took me out of my depression and enabled me to be present for my son.
I struggled with Diastasis Recti after my 3rd pregnancy, and worked very hard (still working) to achieve the healthy, fit body that I have today.
🏋🏽♀️I enjoy jogging and going to the gym, and I fell in love with at home workouts 8 years ago. I love being able to work out at home because it’s convenient and the programs usually require little to no equipment. I am able to exercise most days during the week at home without needing to travel, care about the weather, or find someone to watch my kids. 👩👧👦As a busy mom, I find that I can fit a workout into my schedule almost every day. I even loved at home workout programs when I worked full time in the military!
👦🏼I’m teaching my children to love their bodies, no matter their shape or size, and to treat their bodies right by staying active and eating healthy. We still treat ourselves with and don’t feel guilty about it!👧🏼
